S.R. Infotech SRL is seeking a Python Developer with experience in Data & Cloud environments (Azure) to join structured projects in the banking & finance sector. The role is 100% on-site in Milan city center and involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, backend solutions and data-driven platforms in complex enterprise environments. The position includes close collaboration with Data Engineering teams and the use of technologies such as Python, Azure DataBricks, Synapse and MVC frameworks.

Who we are looking for
For one of our financial-sector clients, we are looking for a Python Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join the Data Engineering team based in Milan.
We are looking for a developer with a strong programming mindset, focused on the development and maintenance of data pipelines and application solutions in Azure environments.
The selected candidate will actively contribute to the design, development and maintenance of medium-to-high complexity projects, working closely with internal teams.
Main Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of CMS and ETL processes for corporate data processing

Development in DataBricks environments (Python)

Use of Azure Synapse and related services

Backend development using MVC frameworks (e.g., Django)

Data reconciliation and support for reporting activities (Power BI)

Support to internal teams for data delivery and integration
Required Skills

At least 5 years of experience in software development

Strong knowledge of Python

Experience with MVC frameworks (e.g., Django)

Good knowledge of Git and version control systems

Experience or strong familiarity with Azure / Cloud environments

Knowledge of services such as DataBricks, DataFactory and Synapse

Strong problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a team
Education

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field
